Hot Chocolate Recipe (with Non-Dairy Options)

HOT CHOCOLATE RECIPE

1 T cocoa mixed with 1 T Lakanto Sweetener (monk fruit & erythritol), 1 pkt. stevia and a sprinkle of salt. Add 3 T whipping cream and mix well. Add boiling water to fill cup and stir well. The stevia definitely improves the flavour in my opinion.

Dairy-free version of above recipe:

Use 3 T cold coconut beverage (e.g., Silk Organic Unsweetened) to mix with dry ingredients, then fill the rest of your cup with hot coconut beverage or use cold beverage and microwave to desired temperature.

Another dairy-free option:

Two squares of Lindt 95% chocolate, Silk Organic Unsweetened Coconut Beverage, 1 T Lakanto sweetener, two packets of Sweetleaf Stevia and a sprinkle of salt. Heat in the microwave for a couple of minutes.

Note: Lakanto sweetener has 4 gms of carbs per teaspoon, so the carbs can add up quickly when making a sweet drink. Feel free to sustitute your sweetener of choice.
