Homemade Hamburger Helper (Not Low Carb)

I made my own Hamburger Helper style meal! I sautéed one pound of regular ground beef with a quarter sweet onion, half a large celery stick, two heaping teaspoons of Better Than Bouillon (beef flavour), and half a can of peas and carrots (drained). Then I prepared one box of Great Value Original Mac 'n' Cheese Dinner (like Kraft Dinner) and added it to the meat mixture. Very tasty and easy to make! I divided it into four servings. These are not large portions, so I may use this meat mixture as a side dish with another protein source. [Instead of adding another meat to this meal, I ended up making a lovely "dessert" with high-fat yogurt, liquid stevia and blueberries.]

Tips: Top with grated cheddar or parmesan cheese. Garnish with minced green onions. Add a dollop of sour cream, high-fat yogurt or cream cheese. Use half ground beef, half ground pork/turkey/Johnsonville mild Italian sausage meat. Add a few handfuls of fresh spinach to the meat mixture and allow it to wilt before adding the mac 'n' cheese.
