Bratwurst and Sauerkraut
A delicious Instant Pot meal. Simple, quick and easy! Sauerkraut, onions, garlic, bay leaf, salt and pepper, a cup of water and chunks of sausage. Pressure cook for 15 minutes (add 10 minutes natural release). I used this recipe. Here’s another similar dish. Note: I used only 1/2 tsp of salt.

I made a double batch of low-carb German Sweet and Sour Red Cabbage which I paired with my favourite English Banger Sausages from Save-on-Foods in the Vancouver area. Note: I made this recipe low carb by substituting allulose for the sugar. I used 2/3 of a cup of allulose…

Boerewors (South African Beef and Pork Sausage) cooked in the air fryer and accompanied by a bagged salad (Southwestern style). The salad is not particularly low carb, but I’m okay with that occasionally.

Crispy air-fried chicken legs and a side salad of kale with citrus dressing, topped with goat cheese crumbles. An amazing low-carb meal!

This huge salad is delicious and filling! The protein consists of one can of flaked tuna (sustainably caught) and three hard-boiled eggs. One of the easiest and most satisfying low-carb meals is a big green salad mixed with with whatever protein you like. Almost any protein will work!
