So, if you haven’t figured it our by now, I love Romaine lettuce salad with cold steak! Adding red onion, olives and salsa mayo make it perfection.
Canned chicken is a very useful product available in Canadian Costco stores under the Kirkland brand. Keep it on hand for soups, stews, salads, stir fries, hash and so on. It has a few carbs, but not enough to worry about in my opinion. And it’s very handy when you forget to take something out…
Stew made from the last of the red pepper soup (which has mellowed a lot so the basil flavour is not as prominent, but the soup is still very delicious), cooked spinach, cooked Brussels sprouts, a can of Kirkland chicken, drained. Quick and easy meal. And really yummy!
Another big salad, but this time with spinach, as I ran out of Romaine lettuce and couldn’t be bothered going to the store. Spinach, red onion, baby sweet peppers, baby tomatoes, olives, fresh basil, cold steak and salsa mayo. Pretty good, but Romaine lettuce is way better in my opinion!
Yet another one of my huge salads! LOL Romaine lettuce, baby tomatoes, baby sweet peppers, red onion, olives, cold steak (YUM!), salsa mayo. Very simple and absolutely delicious!
Made a stew from leftover red pepper soup, spinach, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower rice with veggies, and diced cooked meat (sausages, chicken thigh, beef meat bars).
Mild Italian sausages, baby Brussels sprouts with butter, Air Fryer Roasted Red Pepper Soup (with lots of fresh basil flavour).
Steeaak! Also, baby Brussels sprouts with a dab of butter and Air Fryer Roasted Red Pepper Soup. This soup is very delicious, but you must love the flavour of basil as there’s a lot of it in the recipe. RECIPE: http://indigonili.com/creamy-airfryer-red-pepper-soup-with-basil-keto-dairy-free/
Had some brisket and sausage stew thawed, so I just heated a bag of frozen cauliflower rice with mixed veggies, dumped the stew on top and Bob’s your uncle… a late lunch!
Romaine lettuce, sweet peppers, red onion, baby tomatoes, cucumber, olives, leftover sausages, hard-boiled eggs, salsa mayo.
