Half a cup of 4% fat cottage cheese (5 gms carbs) drizzled with English Toffee Stevia makes a lovely “dessert.”
Tourtiére meat and cauliflower rice mixture, topped with sliced sausages, chopped bacon, red onion and chili sauce. Served with braised cabbage “noodles.” Dessert: 4% fat cottage cheese and English Toffee Stevia.
Late lunch after shopping. Tourtiére meat & cauliflower rice mixture topped with chili sauce, two Italian sausages. And 1/2 cup 4% fat cottage cheese (5 gms carbs) drizzled with English Toffee Stevia for “dessert”! YUM!
Mild Italian sausages, tourtiére meat mixture (with cauliflower rice), braised cabbage, chili sauce. The chili sauce is really great on the tourtiére mixture; I think it cuts the richness. 1 T. only adds 4 gm of carbs. Before LOCALOFA, I ate tourtiére pies with this chili sauce. A change of pace for me! Scrambled eggs and slow-cooked bacon. Also had a hot chocolate with 3 T. whipping cream at mid-morning (4 gms carbs). Remember, I am on maintenance!

Add boiling water to fill cup and stir well. The stevia definitely improves the flavour in my opinion. Dairy-free version of above recipe:…
Cooked some cabbage to act as noodles and combined them with my tourtiére meat and cauliflower rice mixture. Topped with 1 T. chili sauce (4 gms carbs). Delicious!

Since I don’t eat pies I decided to add a package of frozen cauliflower rice with mixed veggies to…

Finally got to eat my garlicky BBQ’d beef finger meat. Oh, yum! And threw on some baby tomatoes that were starting to languish.
